Need an Art app? Check out Prisma…
So if you haven’t heard Prisma released it’s app for android a few days ago. It has been out for the Iphone prior. It might be one of the hottest things app wise this summer not named pokemon go. So what’s it about? It’s an app that takes your photos and makes them look like a piece of art. Check out the photos to the right and left. We took a few photos and used various filter through the app.
This is how they describe it: Prisma transforms your photos into works of art using the styles of famous artists: Van Gogh, Picasso, Levitan, as well as world famous ornaments and patterns. A unique combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence helps you turn memorable moments into timeless art pieces.
It has about 29 different types of filters of which have some cool effects. You might think whats the big deal there are quite a few apps out there that have filters. True there are, but in using its AI it does really create magic. Your images become more artsy while applying some really interesting effects. Take a look at the before and after images below.

Prisma App
There are some issues as the server sometimes overloads and you have to check back. It only produces square images. There is not a before and after view, it reduces resolution, and has no photo correction. That aside it produces some pretty cool images and can be quite addictive.
